In an update to yesterday's post, today's L.A Times http://www.latimes.com/. reports that the two Kentucky miners missing yesterday after a mine roof collapsed are dead.
Justin Travis, 27, and Michael Carter, 28 were killed in an "accident" at Doktiki Mine near Providence in western Kentucky late Wednesday.
The underground mine has a long history of safety violations.
May the families and friends of the miners --and all workers killed on the job--find the peace and justice they so richly deserve.
